Ok, ladies and gentlemen, here it is. This should work now--every other attempt has failed--but I think I've worked out the kinks.
What I expect you to do is to contribute to a running commentary of sorts. Type your responses in the post below. Your task is threefold. Task number one: Post an observation. For instance, something you learned from the reading, some kind of cultural, social, or historical insight. It needs to be significant enough that it demonstrates that you read well and thoughtfully, so no "I couldn't help but notice that Chinese people in the past admired Confucius." What I mean is something that struck you as interesting, something you wouldn't learn in a textbook--something that made you curious, upset, or anything else. Try to end with a question to prompt others to jump into the conversation. Task number two: Elaborate on at least two peers' observations. Task number three: Include your first and last name on your post/comment.
